About Us
TEIN-UG (Tertiary Education Institutions Network – University of Ghana) is the recognized student wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on the University of Ghana campus. The network is committed to promoting political education, leadership development, civic engagement, and community service among students. Through forums, trainings, outreach programs, and strategic engagements, TEIN-UG provides a platform for students to develop their leadership potential, contribute meaningfully to national development, and actively participate in democratic and governance processes.
Mission
To mobilize and empower students of the University of Ghana through political education, leadership training, civic engagement, and grassroots activism, in line with the social democratic ideals and vision of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Vision
To be a leading student political movement that nurtures principled, visionary, and committed young leaders who uphold social democratic values and actively contribute to national development and democratic governance.
Philosophy of the party
The Party is a Social Democratic Party that believes in the equality and the egalitarian treatment of each person irrespective of their social, cultural, educational, political, religious, and economic relations in a multi-party environment.
